Nature walks

There is always something to do on the Rhuys Peninsula... especially for the outdoors type (which presumably you are).
The walks on the Rhuys peninsula and around the gulf of Morbihan are endless…
To discover this peninsula with its many faces, let yourself be tempted by one of the numerous walks along the gulf.

Here are some ideas :

On the path of our Duke (Sarzeau-Suscinio)

From the campsite, take the path to the Roaliguen beach and go along the bay and enjoy the many creeks. Take the opportunity to visit Suscinio’s Castle, a Symbol of the Breton’s heritage.

Great Mount Walk (Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys)

Discover St Gildas abbey and its rare roman style. Carry on to the Great Mount point with its granite cross. From this view point, you can discover Quiberon’s Bay as well as Houat, Hoëdic and Belle île.

The points on the Gulf (Arzon)

Dream as you walk this path. Among the hawthorn and gorse bushes, the gulf will reveal its marvellous creeks and islands.

Bird reserve (Duer)

Come and enjoy the bird reserve at Duer. Discover teal, mallard, barnacle geese, plover and other migrators.

The Salt Marsh (Saint-Armel)

The only salt marsh in the Morbihan that is still runing. You will be able to discover a unique spot in total harmony with mother nature. Over the days, one hundred and seven species of birds frequent the site and also host other creatures.
